Siam Arcon belongs to the IAPG integrated by companies that cover the activities of exploration, production, refining, marketing, transportation and distribution of oil and gas; the provision of services, provision of materials and equipment; legal advice and consultants on environmental issues.
The IAPG is a non-profit civil association that generates, plans and develops studies and analysis of all activities related to the hydrocarbon industries. It is considered the technical reference in Argentina of the oil and gas industry in particular, and of energy in general. It was created in June 1957 from the Argentine Section of the South American Petroleum Institute (ISAP). Its headquarters is located in the City of Buenos Aires and has seven sectionals, located in the main productive basins: North Section (Tartagal, Province of Salta), Sectional Cuyo (City of Mendoza), Sectional Comahue (City of Neuquén), Sectional South (Comodoro Rivadavia, Province of Chubut), Sectional Río Gallegos (Province of Santa Cruz), Sectional Tierra del Fuego (Rio Grande, Province of Tierra del Fuego) and Sectional La Plata (Province of Buenos Aires). In addition, it has 157 associated companies, national and foreign, and more than 700 Personal Partners.
